Sunderland - Boxing Day

A 10 AM start here for the Boxing Day game. Since I had to work it meant following the game on the Telegraph's (UK Paper) website. Nothing like reading about Johnny Heitinga getting a yellow for a dumb foul after hitting refresh for the 1,000th time. I was happy to see though, after going down 1-0 in the first half, Osman drawing a penalty and Baines (of course) converting to secure the draw. This would have been an especially nice win considering one of the five or so friends I share my love of the soccer and the Premier League with is a Sunderland fan, but a tie will have to do until the Black Cats head to Goodison Park.

The definition of of obsessed? How about watching the replay of a game you already know the score to and still getting nervous when Sunderland gets a break away even though you know they won't score again. This is my life as an Everton fan in America. Next up is a date with the Baggies of West Brom on New Year's. Not on TV here, so I'll be doing the mobile update or trying to stay away from Twitter until the game is replayed on FSC...
